Alchemy Technology Group has an Account Manager position available in California, Chicago, Houston, Iowa/Nebraska, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi/Alabama, Northeast, Tennessee, Mid-Alantic, Western PA/Ohio, and Wisconsin, working with both Commercial and Enterprise customers.  This position focuses on achieving Gross Profit goals by selling Alchemy’s suite of services and products.  Alchemy is a leading value-added reseller and systems integrator for multiple vendors, including Citrix, Okta, Nutanix, ControlUp, Varonis, Rapid7, and many others. Candidates should have experience selling enterprise solutions and consulting services.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Effectively profile target accounts.
  • Identify Enterprise and Commercial Accounts that can deliver up to $100K+ of annual Gross Profit and where Alchemy can clearly differentiate through End User Computing, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure services and solutions.
  • Leverage professional networking to build relationships with C-level executives and decision-making managers at targeted clients.
  • Position solutions to potential clients.
  • Build, develop and manage both long-term customer and vendor relationships.
  • Work with inside sales, marketing, pre-sales and services teams in coordinating sales activities.
  • Continue education on evolving End User Computing, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure technologies and solutions.
  • Be a difference maker for your customers, partners, and Alchemy.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 5-year minimum of Information Technology field sales experience, preferably at a vendor.
  • Critical skills include account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer’s organization, and managing partner relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Experienced in the full sales life cycle, including everything from initial prospecting to closing of deals and maintaining the customer relationship for further business.
  • Ideal experience includes consultative solution selling with a focus on End User Computing, Security, Data Centers and/or Virtualization.
