Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices and a proven track record of successfully implementing cybersecurity solutions for clients across various industries.

 

Job Objective:

The Consultant’s primary goal is to help Alchemy continue to grow our Cybersecurity business by delivering professional services and generating a new pipeline.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct cybersecurity assessments and client audits to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps.
  2. Develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps tailored to clients’ needs and requirements.
  3. Design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions, including but not limited to network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection measures.
  4. Work with customers to develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect their information systems and data.
  5. Assist customers in developing and implementing incident response plans.
  6. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to provide proactive advice and recommendations to clients.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
  8. Design/deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs for clients’ employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
  9. Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations, to showcase our cybersecurity expertise and capabilities.
  10. Contribute to other content creation activities such as new service offerings, deliverables, and other items as needed.

 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
  2. Proven experience working as a cybersecurity consultant or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
  4. Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
  5. Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus software, data protection, and encryption methods.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results within budget.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  10. Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
